Moe Ramirez & Paco Falcon win the #10.5 Heartland in San Antonio
Congratulations to Moe Ramirez, Premont, TX & Paco Falcon, Premont, TX for winning the #10.5 Heartland in San Antonio, TX on May 29th, 2022. Over a hot memorial weekend, Ramirez & Falcon came from the 8th call back position with a time of 8.47 on their last steer, leaving them with an overall time of 36.27 on 4 steers and 7 teams to sweat. The next two teams were no times, followed by a few teams with times too long. The 3rd callback team of Farrell Jackson and Will Petrus were just .25 seconds shy of nudging Ramirez and Falcon out of the top position, with a time of 36.52 on 4, giving them second place. Charlie Hale and Shiloh Sosa won the fast time in the short round from the 29th position, with a time of 7.67 on their final steer. With their first place win, Ramirez and Falcon took home $34,500 along with Cactus Saddlery Prize Saddles, Trophy Pads, and Gist Silversmith HL Champion Buckles. Congratulations to all of the Heartland winners who qualified for the Ariat WSTR Finale XVI.
