Big Winners in the #14.5 Heartland!

WSTR continued its Heartland Series in Stephenville, TX on February 17^th, with the #14.5 Heartland. Partners Micah Smith, McGregor, TX and Justin Elms, Thorndale, TX were the big winners, finishing with a time of 27.88 on 4 head, taking home $18,050 along with Cactus Saddlery Prize Saddles, Trophy Pads, and Gist Silversmith HL Champion Buckles. This weekend was particularly successful for both Justin and Micah. Not only did Justin and his partner Micah Smith win the #14.5 Heartland, but Justin also won second with partner Jimmy Edens, the fast time in the first round with Micah, and 5^th in the #14.5 qualifier. Micah also had a great weekend, winning 2^nd in the #15.5 and 3^rd in the #13.5 Qualifier. Combined, these two ropers took home $32,935 from Stephenville. Congratulations to all of the Heartland winners who qualified for the Ariat WSTR Finale XVI.
